As we walked along a trail near the Delaware Water Gap in NJ on a chilly, windy, day. We came upon this scene. As all the surrounding bushes and lighter branches were in movement, this magnificent tree stood frozen in time. Hope you enjoy it. It is a scanned 4x5 negative in an Ambrotype finish.

This scene caught my eye as we drove by from Rushland, PA.
We turned around.
With no place to stop, I literally had to walk about 1/2 mile on a country road to reach it.
This is not uncommon for me.
If I see a picture and fail to go back for it I'll be thinking about it for the rest of the day.
So here is what I titled, "The Lonely Emperor" in my "Featured" Gallery. Enjoy!

This photo is from a recent trip down to the Chesapeake Bay area.
We happened by the Kent County Yacht Club and wandered around.
I set up and exposed a few negatives before people started showing up.
These black rocks appealed to me on this rather sunny day. Enjoy.
This is a scanned 4x5 negative developed with PMK Pyro.
